Hold’em Equity Challenge (“the app”) is a single-developer poker training game. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and the choices you have. It is written to be read, not to hide things.

What the app collects

• Your gameplay progress — hands played, answers, accuracy, streaks, rank, and badges. This is created as you play.
• A sign-in identity, only if you choose to sign in — if you sign in with Google, the app receives your email address and a Google account identifier so your progress can sync across devices. If you never sign in, the app uses an anonymous device identifier instead.
• App settings — sound and vibration preferences, stored on your device.

The app does not collect your name, contacts, location, photos, advertising ID, or device sensor data, and it contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

How your data is stored

• Progress and settings are stored on your device.
• A backup copy of your progress is stored on Supabase (our hosted database, running on AWS infrastructure in Seoul, South Korea), tied to your anonymous or signed-in identity. This is what lets you restore progress on a new device.

Purchases

The one-time “Pro” unlock is processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. The app never sees or stores your card or payment details — it only records, on your device, whether Pro has been unlocked.

Sharing

Your data is not sold and not shared with anyone for advertising or marketing. It is handled only by the infrastructure providers named above (Supabase, and Google for sign-in), acting on our behalf to run the service.

Your choices

• Don’t sign in — the app is fully playable without an account.
• Sign out any time from Settings → Account.
• Delete your account — Settings → Account → Delete account permanently erases your backed-up progress and sign-in identity from our servers and resets this device. You can also email the address below. Uninstalling the app removes the local copy.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change and the new version will be posted at this URL.
